GOAL: Design a user-friendly food ordering app for a Tokyo-based sandwich shop, featuring an intuitive interface, seamless ordering process, and easy-to-understand visualization of menu items through illustrations and photos. The app aims to provide a modern and convenient way for customers to order food online and pick it up at the shop.

Design:
The food ordering UI is designed for a Tokyo-based sandwich shop, emphasizing intuitive navigation, visually appealing food photography, and warm, high-end color schemes that complement the shop's long-standing reputation. The focus is on providing a streamlined user experience, with simple navigation that prioritizes easy searching and quick access to menu items, making it convenient for customers to place orders. The design aims to create a visually engaging and user-friendly experience that encourages customers to use the app and order food from the shop with ease.
Daily Deals:
At the top of the homepage, users can find a horizontally scrollable section featuring the daily special deals. The sandwich shop updates this section with 3-5 discounted items every day, allowing users to quickly browse through the special offers and add them directly to their cart. With this feature, users can easily take advantage of the daily deals and enjoy great savings on their orders.
Menu Section:
The Menu section on the homepage is designed with user convenience in mind. By categorizing menu items into different sections and pairing them with clear and visually appealing pictures, users can quickly understand which category their desired meal falls under. This intuitive design not only reduces confusion and saves time, but also enhances the overall user experience. With just a few clicks, users can easily explore the various categories and order their desired meals with ease.
Order Confirmation:
On the Order Confirmation page, we aim to provide users with clear and comprehensive information about their orders. The page displays a message that confirms the order and indicates the estimated pick-up time, allowing users to plan their schedule accordingly. Additionally, users can easily review the items they have ordered, with each item displayed individually for easy reference. This feature is especially helpful for users to ensure that they have received all of their items upon pickup. Furthermore, we include a map with clear directions to the restaurant to further simplify the pickup process. Our design strives to provide users with an effortless and convenient experience from start to finish.
